I didn't know, in 1998, when we planted our first lavender field, that it would be the start of a beautiful business called Lullaby Lavender Ltd, which would not only produce quality baby skin care products, but also, 100% cotton, traditional hand embroidered and  smocked children's clothing - designed for children who want to be children.

All of our lavender products have been created in New Zealand, with expert advice and strict quality control procedures, using only 100% pure and natural essential oil of lavender. Our plants have been hand harvested to give us only the best quality oil. 

Our beautiful merino knitted garments and shawls are classic designs for babies and young children, all made with loving care, by a wonderful retired couple in Feilding.

And for our mums and friends who love beautiful nightwear, we have gorgeous hand embroidered garments in cotton and silk.

The Heart of Lullaby/Mulberry

Our shop, Mulberry, is the soul of our brand—a space where natural textiles take centre stage. From pure silk to eco‑friendly cotton and linen,  we believe fashion should feel as good as it looks. Every piece reflects our devotion to artisan craftsmanship, community, and creativity, all rooted in ethical production.

Do call at our shop (Mulberry) on the Wellington Waterfront - open every fine day. Summer hours 10am - 4pm;  Winter hours Fri, Sat, Sun - 11am - 2pm.  Its under Frank Kitts Park, by the lagoon, and faces the sea.  We have called the shop Mulberry - to encompass all our natural textiles, including silk.
